A new, brilliant composition by Leonard Eskin, "For Misha's Gang - Suite for small, medium, large and extra large fiddles" was premiered at the opening concert of the "Revolutionaries: The late works of Beethoven & Ginastera" festival at Trinity Wall Street in New York on March 3, 2016.

Each member of our 14-piece orchestra is featured as a soloist in this work. Tragic and humorous, lyrical and virtuosic, introverted and wildly extroverted -- the wide emotional spectrum is generously represented, while even the most unusual beginning of the Suite can't prepare the listener for the way the composition ends -- it has to be heard and watched:

Other works on this program were by Corigliano and Ginastera, and the encore was a Russian folk song. All here: Video gallery
